Agora… maintenant: the OUISISIM album that brings us back to the present

A reading of the album as a return to the present, to peace, and to a more luminous way of living.

Agora… maintenant is an album about the present. About the moment we so often forget while our minds return to the past, trying to change what has already happened, or rush ahead into the future, attempting to control something that does not yet exist.

Returning to the now

The past has already passed. We can understand it, embrace it and learn from it, but we cannot return and change it.

The future has not arrived yet. Even so, we often live as though our life were waiting for us somewhere ahead: when I achieve this, when I find that, when that moment arrives, when everything is in order, when I finally feel ready.

But life does not happen there. Life is happening here. Now.

Beyond the languages

That is why this album does not speak about the present as a beautiful phrase or as a spiritual idea disconnected from reality. It speaks about the present as the only place from which we can feel, choose, love, transform the way we see life and begin again.

In an increasingly fast world, where everything seems to push us to produce more, compare ourselves more, consume more and run faster, OUISISIM proposes another path: to breathe, to feel, to think better, to love better and to remember that peace is also a form of freedom.

The album travels through Brazilian Portuguese, French, English and a few moments in Spanish. Yet beyond the languages, a single language moves through every song: the language of the soul when it remembers that it does not need to search outside for everything that already lives within.

Feliz de Viver

Each song opens a door to a calmer, more conscious and more luminous way of living.

The journey begins with Feliz de Viver, and that choice matters.

The song is not simply about living happily, as though everything had to be perfect. It speaks about something deeper: being happy to be alive.

Waking up and feeling the sun calling. Opening our eyes and recognizing that we are still here. Understanding that being alive, breathing, feeling and receiving another opportunity is already a miracle.

Respira leve

Then comes Respira leve, like a necessary pause.

Breathing lightly is not only about breathing slowly. It is about learning not to carry everything with so much heaviness. It is about stopping, for a few moments, the struggle against life, against ourselves and against everything we cannot control.

It is about looking at what is happening with greater calm, greater honesty and less urgency.

When we breathe lightly, we stop responding to the world only through fear, pressure or distress. We create a small space within ourselves. And inside that space, we can begin listening to ourselves again.

Agora… maintenant

The third song, Agora… maintenant, is the conceptual heart of the album.

Its title joins Portuguese and French to express one truth: now.

The present is the only real space in which we can transform something.

Anxiety often carries us into a future that has not arrived. Sadness can keep us connected to a past that we can no longer change. But the present gives something essential back to us: our power to choose.

In the present, we can breathe. In the present, we can change a thought. In the present, we can treat ourselves with more love. In the present, we can see a situation from another perspective. In the present, we can begin again.

Quando eu tenho paz

Then comes Quando eu tenho paz, a song that holds one of the most important ideas in the entire album: when there is peace within us, everything begins to feel lighter.

Peace does not mean that every problem has disappeared. It does not mean that life has become perfect.

Peace is an inner presence. It is balance. It is clarity. It is the feeling that, even in the middle of uncertainty, there is a place within us to which we can return.

We often search for the miracle outside ourselves, in something that needs to happen, in an answer that needs to arrive or in a situation that needs to change. But perhaps the real miracle is being able to feel peace now, even before everything has been resolved.

Self-love and freedom

With Amor próprio… liberté, the album enters the territory of love for oneself and freedom.

We only begin to become truly free when we stop living disconnected from ourselves.

Loving ourselves is not selfishness. It does not mean thinking only about ourselves or believing we are superior to others. It is recognition.

It is remembering that we have value simply because we exist. That we do not need to prove constantly that we deserve love. That we are part of a greater life, a consciousness, a loving intelligence or a divine presence. Each person can give that presence the name that feels true within their heart.

When a person begins to love themselves genuinely, they also begin to choose differently. They no longer abandon themselves so easily in order to please others. They no longer give all their power to comparison, fear, lack or the need for approval.

To love ourselves is to return to ourselves. And returning to ourselves is the beginning of freedom.

Entre nous / Entre nós

Then comes Entre nous, which speaks about shared love from a more conscious and mature place.

It is not a love based on dependence. It is not the belief that an incomplete person needs to find someone else in order to become whole.

It is the meeting of two people who already carry their own light and choose to walk together.

Two people who do not need one another in order to exist, but who choose to share life. They can look at each other, recognize one another and feel that, for a moment, the world becomes still.

A love that is not born from emptiness, but from the joy of sharing.

A love in which being together does not mean losing ourselves, but accompanying each other on the journey back to who we truly are.

Só penso o bom

Só penso o bom brings a simple, direct and deeply powerful idea: choosing to think about what is good.

The title has a special strength. From a more formal perspective, it might be expressed differently, but Só penso o bom has a luminous and emotional musicality.

It speaks about “o bom”: the good in life, the good in people and the good that still exists, even when the noise of the world tries to convince us otherwise.

Thinking about what is good does not mean denying problems or pretending that everything is fine. It means not giving our minds entirely to fear, criticism, conflict or lack.

Our thoughts are seeds as well. What we repeat, nourish and sustain within ourselves eventually influences the way we feel, act and interpret life.

Choosing to think about what is good is a way of caring for our inner garden.

Le futur c'est maintenant

With Le futur c'est maintenant, the album returns to an essential truth: the future does not begin tomorrow. It begins now.

We often place happiness somewhere far away: when I buy something, when I travel, when I meet someone, when I achieve a goal, when my body changes, when my life is completely organized.

And while we wait for that future, the present passes in front of us without being fully lived.

Le futur c'est maintenant reminds us that the future is built through the way we think, feel and choose today.

The future is born in every present decision. In the thought we choose to nourish. In the words we choose to speak. In the way we treat our bodies. In the way we relate to ourselves and to others.

We do not need to wait until we become someone else before beginning a new life. We can begin now.

Vibrar bonito

And at the end comes Vibra bonito, as a synthesis of the whole journey.

After being happy to be alive, breathing lightly, returning to the present, finding peace, awakening love for ourselves, sharing love without dependence, choosing to think about what is good and understanding that the future begins in the present, a new way of being in the world appears: vibrating beautifully.

Vibrating beautifully does not mean being happy all the time or ignoring difficult emotions.

It means relating to life through a clearer and more conscious energy.

It means not allowing the noise of the world to take our centre away from us.

It means choosing calm without losing strength. It means loving without abandoning ourselves. It means feeling without becoming trapped in what we feel. It means thinking about what is good without denying reality. It means walking through life with greater awareness, peace and gratitude.

Agora… maintenant is, at its heart, an album about returning home.

Not to a physical home, but to the inner space where we can listen to ourselves again. Where life feels clearer. Where happiness does not depend on having everything resolved. Where peace is no longer seen as a distant goal and begins to be recognized as the true miracle.

A space in which we understand that perhaps we do not need to become someone new. Perhaps we only need to remember who we were before fear, before the rush, before comparison and before all the voices that made us believe we were not enough.

With this album, OUISISIM offers music to accompany that return.

Songs for walking, breathing, driving, looking at the sea, beginning the day, resting, closing our eyes or simply remembering something essential:

Life is happening now.

And now is where we can be happy to be alive. Now is where we can breathe lightly. Now is where we can find peace. Now is where we can awaken love for ourselves. Now is where we can love better. Now is where we can choose to think about what is good. Now is where we can begin building the future. Now is where we can vibrate beautifully.

Because the present is not only a moment. The present is the place where life is waiting for us.
